The Air Jordan 15 was released in 1999-2000 but was never worn by Jordan himself in an NBA game. This was the first Jordan shoe after Jordan’s retirement. Many wondered whether or not Jordan Brand would continue to release shoes despite Jordan’s absence from the NBA. The shoes did not sell too well to put it politely, though, many doubt that the Air Jordan 15’s being on Jordan’s feet would have made much of a difference.
Prada x Fighter Jet The design of the Air Jordan 15 originated from the futuristic X-15 fighter jet developed by NASA during the 1950’s. The tongue of the shoe stuck out parallel to the ground. Many wondered if this was to resemble Jordan’s famous facial expression while soaring through the air.
